An international school trip to Shanghai centred on participation in the 2026 World Scholar’s Cup Global Round, alongside cultural learning and guided city experiences. The official Shanghai Global Round runs from 5–10 August 2026 at Shanghai Poly Grand Theatre.

The programme can be adjusted around the school’s competition schedule, group requirements and selected educational activities.

Day 1 — Departure from Nairobi

Depart Nairobi for Shanghai. The journey takes approximately 17 hours, including the layover.

Day 2 — Arrival in Shanghai

Arrive in Shanghai, complete airport formalities and transfer to the accommodation. Rest and attend a short trip orientation.

Day 3 — Registration and Opening Programme

Attend event registration and the opening activities for the Shanghai Global Round.

Day 4 — World Scholar’s Cup Programme

Participate in the scheduled academic challenges, debates and team activities.

Day 5 — World Scholar’s Cup Programme

Continue with the competition programme and organised scholar activities.

Day 6 — World Scholar’s Cup Programme

Participate in the day’s scheduled competitions and group sessions.

Day 7 — World Scholar’s Cup Programme

Continue with academic activities, team events and interaction with international scholars.

Day 8 — Closing Programme

Attend the final activities, awards and closing programme of the Shanghai Global Round.

Day 9 — Shanghai Educational Tour

Visit selected educational and cultural attractions around Shanghai.

Day 10 — Cultural Experience

Continue exploring Shanghai through organised cultural and learning activities.

Day 11 — Final Day in Shanghai

Enjoy a final group activity, prepare for departure and complete any remaining travel arrangements.

Day 12 — Return Journey

Transfer to the airport and begin the journey back home.
