Day 1: Departure from Nairobi to Maasai Mara and Cultural Experience

The experience will begin with a meet and greet session which shall be followed by a short briefing by our professional safari driver. Get the chance to soak in the beautiful views as we descend to the Great Rift Valley all the way to the Maasai Mara. The drive will take approximately 5.5 hours. There will be a quick stop over at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, to enjoy the amazing views of the Largest Valley in the world, said to be visible from outer space. Arrival at Maasai Mara will be around lunch hour giving you the chance to check into your camp or lodge, then enjoy a delicious meal.

Relax and refresh before setting out for an afternoon highlight – an authentic Maasai cultural tour, one of the most essential experiences on any Maasai Mara safari with Teez Tours. During this immersive visit, you’ll step inside a traditional Maasai village (Manyatta) and get a rare opportunity to interact with the Maasai people, one of East Africa’s most iconic communities. Expect to experience the following:

Day 2: Enjoy a Comprehensive Full Day in Maasai Mara  

Wake up to the sounds of the wild and prepare for an unforgettable full-day safari across the Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of the best safari destinations in Africa. After breakfast, head out with your expert driver guide in search of the BIG FIVE (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo)., cheetahs, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and hundreds of bird species.

Depending on the season, you may even witness the world-famous Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras thunder across the plains. Enjoy a picnic lunch under the shade of an Acacia tree or by the Mara River, watching hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. Continue your adventure across the sweeping savannahs until evening, then return to your camp for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Magical Balloon Safari/Early Morning Game Drive & Return to Nairobi

On your final morning, you have the option of experiencing one of the most magical adventures in Kenya, a sunrise hot air balloon safari over the Maasai Mara. Drift silently above the golden plains as the sun paints the sky, watching elephants, lions, and giraffes roam freely below. The flight concludes with a memorable champagne bush breakfast set in the wilderness, an experience unlike any other. You will then check out and begin the departure back to Nairobi airport, or drop off at your hotel at around 1600 hours.
